Top Tips
- For the best results do not overcrowd the air fryer basket so that the hot air circulates well and the corn dogs crisp up. Do not stack them at all. You may need to cook these in few batches if in a smaller air fryer.
- The amount of corn dogs you can fit in depends on the size of your air fryer basket or tray. I can get 5-6 in easily.
- No extra oil spray is needed for this recipe.
- For the best results, flip the corn dogs about two-thirds of the way through cooking.
- The hot dogs inside do heat up, so please let them cool down a little bit before you dig in.
- Depending on the size of the basket, you might have to break the ends of the corn dog stick for them to fit.
- Please preheat the air fryer before cooking these.
Air fryers temperatures can vary depending on the make and model. I recommend starting with less cook time, checking for doneness, then adding more time as needed.
Storage
- Store – Store any cooled leftovers in an airtight container for up to 3 days in a refrigerator.
- Reheat – reheat in a preheated air fryer for about 2 minutes at 400 degrees F / 200 degrees C.
Air Fryer Frozen Corn Dog Time
Cooking times depends entirely on the size of the corn dogs and the temperature. Based on a 400 degrees F / 200 degrees C temperature you should cook.
- These cook for 6-8 minutes.
- If they don’t cook enough for your liking, then cook for a further 2 minutes.
