Friday Faves – foodiecrush

Hello hello and happy Friday.

This week’s fave meal was all about using up my one zucchini plant’s prolific output. I have so much squash I should actually be serving zuchs at every meal. But this one was a Med-inspired vision, complete with this zucchini side dish served alongside chicken and pork souvlaki and a scoop of my fave rice. Don’t forget the tzatziki. So frigging good.

Whoa, whoa, whoa, it’s the end of an era. I cannot believe Her Majesty The Queen has died. The British monarchy may have a divisive past, but there’s no doubt Queen Elizabeth was a remarkable woman who accomplished so much during her reign, and this event is monumental.
