Dothan Leisure Services looking for summer camp volunteers

DOTHAN, Ala. (WTVY) – As Dothan Leisure Solutions prepares to get underway with their once-a-year summer months camps, they get to out to the area community for those people who want to support.

Volunteers are required for the Therapeutic Recreation Camps, which benefit intellectually challenged kids and grownups throughout June and July. Individuals that would like to assist will be included in leisure routines, new music, arts and crafts, life skills, cooking, discipline excursions, swimming, and much far more.

The Therapeutic Recreation Summer months Camps will get underway June 20th and run as a result of July 28th, with the exception of July 4th-7th. All activities will run Mondays-Thursdays from 9am-1pm, and will just take spot at the Doug Tew Therapeutic Recreation Center at 300 Garland Road.
